The Digital Meat Case

UX Design | Web Design | Design Execution

Cargill Protein’s trade show presence is an important part of their business pipeline – and their booth experience had to affirm their position at the top of the market. The ask? Steal the (trade) show.

Traditionally, protein industry shows are filled with full-size meat display cases stocking hundreds of pounds of product for attendees to view. But all that food is thrown away once the shows end, making for an inconvenient, costly, and wasteful process. So we invented a new kind of case.

By exchanging full-size meat coolers for massive 65-inch touch screens, we showed attendees far more than just packaged products.

Drool-inducing photography, consumer insights, relevant statistics, production, and supply information – all through a smooth, accessible user interface.

The digital meat case would even direct attendees to a variety of Cargill chef stations where they could sample featured products at certain times during the convention.

The best part? By eliminating the post-show waste, we helped Cargill show that they took their sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives seriously.
